Drive Indre By

The medieval core: setts, squares, copper spires and one-way streets that test your planning.

Indre By is where Copenhagen began, and in CPH Drive it is the densest part of the map. The streets follow the old medieval plan, so many are narrow and one-way, and the squares are paved in granite setts.

Every kerb here is traced from Københavns Kommune’s survey, and the buildings come from the municipal 3D city model, matched to today’s footprints so demolished blocks are gone and new ones stand.

What you drive past

  • RådhuspladsenThe City Hall square, and the hub where most bus lines meet.
  • Kongens NytorvThe big royal square at the top of Nyhavn, lit at night.
  • NyhavnThe canal of painted houses; the golden-evening view is the game’s postcard.
  • Gammel StrandCanal-side street across from Christiansborg, lovely in the rain.
  • H.C. Andersens BoulevardThe six-lane artery that queues properly in the morning rush.
